Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 身心障礙者轉銜及休閒教育研究所 === 106 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of playing Boccia on movement control in children with cerebral palsy. Methods: Fourteen children with CP were assigned to experimental group and eight children with CP were control group. Performed static sitting balance, Pediatric reach test, reaching test, and Boccia ball throwing test were obseved. Two cameras were used to record reaching movement, and throwing movement while a force plate was placed on the seat to measure the movement of the center of presure. Independent two-way ANOVA mixed design were analyzed to compare the differences in all variables between the two groups. Results: There were significantly extend in movement area while the average velocity slowly speed in both groups during the reaching test. The movement range of elbow flexion and shoulder flexion were significantly increase in both groups. There were significantly increase in speed of trunk flexion, elbow flexion and shoulder flexion in both groups. The movement speed of head in experimental group significance faster than control group in sagital plane during 5m throwing test. Conclusion: Currently, 1 to 2 times a week Boccia class that the training intensity and training volume may not be able to improve the CP movement control and postural balance. In the future study, Boccia class should be modify the training program and increasing the time of practice.
