Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 運動教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 106 === The purpose of this study aims to explore the effects of rope ladder sport and general physical education classes on balance ability, agility, and working memory. A total of 39 elementary school students from Sijhih district, New Taipei City were recruited in this study. A quantified quasi-experimental study method was used to conduct the study, which was a total of 16 rope ladder activities for a period of four weeks. The instruments were dynamic balance instrument, agility test, and auditory language test. According to the data obtained from the experimental results, the statistical methods of the independent sample t-test and the chi-square test were used for data processing, and the following conclusions were discussed. After the intervention of high-grade students through middle-high-strength rope ladder movements: Side-by-side scores are better than the control group, but no significant improvement exists. Second, the experimental group was better than the control group in the balance time, but there was no significantly changed in the time before and after the test, so there was no particularly significant stabilization effect. Third, after four weeks of rope ladder movements in the experimental group, the number of balanced swings did not decrease, so there was no significant reduction effect. Fourth, after four weeks of rope ladder movement, the experimental group had a significant effect on long-term memory and was superior to the control group. The conclusion of this study shows that long-term and regular rope ladder exercises can effectively improve the working memory of school children, indicating that rope ladder movement has a positive effect on cognitive function
