In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted to study the participants in the fifth and sixth grades of the elementary school track and field teams in New Taipei City in the 106 academic year. " The questionnaire of the relationship between percption coach’s leadership behavior and sports confidence of the athletes for elementary school track and field teams in New Taipei City " was used as a research tool. 722 valid questionnaires were collected and the recovery rate was 95%. Using SPSS for Windows 20.0 statistical suite software, descriptive statistics, independent samples and tests, single factor analysis of variance, single-factor variance analysis of repeated variables, and post-hoc comparison of LSD were used for analysis. The following results were obtained: 1. The highest level of " percption coach’s leadership behavior” in the five factors is "training and mentoring behavior", and the lowest one is "autonomy"; the highest level of "sports confidence" in the five factors is "excellent skillful" and the lowest one is "physical representation". 2. Percption coach's leadership behavior differs significantly in background variables such as gender, grade, physical education class, different gender of the coach, different practice days per week, different training years, and different sports performances. There are significant differences in sports confidence such as physical education class, different gender of the coach, different practice days per week, different training years, and different sports performances. 3. There is a middle correlation between the overall percption coach's leadership behavior and the overall sports confidence of the athletes for elementary school track and field teams in New Taipei City.
