碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 心理與諮商學系 === 106 === The purpose of this study was to explore the intergenerational transmission of parent's value in career decision-making process of Taiwanese university students by using narrative methodology. For purposive sampling, three Taiwanese students who study in Taiwan was invited to be the studying objects, discuss about their’s strategy and feeling when they aware their patent’s values and expects in career decision-making process. All of the participants can feel parent’s expectation and intervention in their own career decision-making process. The conclusion of the study point out intergenerational transmission is a interaction of dynamic and bidirectional process. In this process, no matter what kind of way parents transfer and children’s willing, children try their best to practice it. Based on the results, some suggestions to practitioner, counselors and future study are provided in the study.
