Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 特殊教育學系 === 106 === Abstract This is an less than remarkable family education story; it is a parenting experience without standardized assessments; it is an issue that you and I have experienced or will soon experience in the near future but it is easy to ignore. Because the story of education is ordinary, we often neglect its importance in the busy daily life; because there is no unified method of assessment, there exist divergent views and opinions;because it is so frequently ignored, we often forget its possible impact on the child's future. However, its familiarity is evidence for its universality;its lack of standard criteria the source of its flexibility;its elusiveness the reason why we should pay more attention to its existence and significance. In this seminar, I will tell the family education story of my three daughters—two of whom passed the General Intelligence Appraisal Excellent Student Identification and one passed the Art Talents Outstanding Student Appraisal when they were in elementary school and then started their journey of gifted education. The story is the combination of the difficulties they faced or encountered growing up and the theories of education for the gifted and talented. Furthermore, the researcher herself is also the subject of this study. To ensure the integrity and enhance the credibility of the study, I keep an impartial and neutral attitude and share my family’s education and parenting experience by interviewing my three daughters and offering photographs and certificates as proof. At the end of the story, I will separately review and discuss the relationship between family education and how family education interacts with observation, attitude, activities, economy. I will provide my personal suggestions regarding school education and the policies of gifted education as well as my expectations for follow-up research. With this study, I hope that parents or others who are interested in gifted education can make good use of more abundant resources under the condition of more〝known〞issues of gifted education and travel firmly on the road of gifted education in a more〝clear〞atmosphere.
