The study found that apart from the traditional knowledge of tea-making, tea farmers still need to develop the abilities of tour guide and DIY hand-craft to diversify their business models, and cooperate with government organizations to meet the needs of diverse societies. Owing to the Soil and Water Conservation Law,Tea Mountain Tea Garden faces the restrictions of the development in water resources and transportation infrstcuture, making it difficult for younger generations to survive resulting in population outflow and aging problem.
The research suggests that the Law should be loosened to improve transportation and water resources facilities, and marketing withsales connection should be strengthened for the local culture to take root so that the culture of Nangang Baozhong Tea can be combined with the tourism and recreation industry to create another glory.
