Summary:碩士 === 台南應用科技大學 === 美術系碩士班 === 106 === The research scope of this creation exploration would be the creation process during 2012 to 2017, which interpreted『As if separated by a glass』, the author’s inner soliloquy of viewing himself/herself and outer world. The series works created to ease the tension and confusion that narrated parts of psychological anxiety symptoms, and other parts of psychological influence caused by physical discomfort, to accommodate the correlation between physical and psychological activities to those artworks, as well as make conversation with self. For the distance between self and spirit, it needs to adopt creations as the medium, a key to open self’s mind. A part of me escaped from myself, and I found it back by paintings. Such creation process also indicated a type of self-identification. In terms of creation forms, those artworks are focused on emotional expression. At the moment of painting, gave up the control by self-consciousness and let self’s unconsciousness to direct the layout of paintings. Twisted and deformed color blocks would be arranged and combined into the self at the very moment. Exploration can be divided into the following five chapters: 1. Started with the research purpose and motivation, this study explained how the author used the process of spiritual communication to further generate the subject of painting, as well as built the connection of mind with hand which looks more like a projection of his/her emotion and thought. By using the visual concept of “kaleidoscope” as a method to image and view self, as well as initiated the change and possibility for creation. 2. By applying theoretical foundations and related literatures to investigate those recondite words in creation contents, from exploring the outer forms to the deep inner world, to interpret the creator’s mental characteristics and verify the correspondence between his/her personality traits and artworks. 3. By means of the influence of outer environment on the physiological illness and pain, as well as the mental influence, the protection action of defense mechanism has been activated in order to ease the mental conflict and transform into the inspiration and opportunity of painting. Literary perspectives have been employed to respond to the creation connotation, reflection and self-recognition. 4. Summarization and introduction of artworks which analyzed the author’s visualization and formation style for his/her creation, as well as committed to his/her ideas from partial to complete artwork, which the artwork can be considered as his/her own self with various appearances. 5. To mark down the core summarization of his/her creation process and the view of live. For the proposition of this creation exploration, “I” indicated the creator’s identity, which also contained the main subject for this researcher; “Unreachable World”, the inner world reflected from this artwork is the name/title that the author deified his/her own creation world. It also indicated the equality between the “inner world” and “outer world”. Before placing “self” in certain position, the author also hoped to enter his/her inner world to sort out the true inner core.
