Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate learning model and advantages and disadvantages of multiage teaching, also to identify the role and experience among preschool teachers in multiage teaching. Literature review and semi-structured interviews of 8 preschool educators in Chiayi county and Chiayi city is used to collect data.It revealed that adaptive teaching is required for multiage teaching in preschool. It allows seniors to learn to help juniors; on the other hand, it also increases difficulty in designing courses and class management. Preschool teachers need to adjust their way of talking and use body language to assist children in learning to be independent. In addition, providing opportunities of mutual assistance and learning from each other is important. Overall, this study suggested that bridging the age gap between children, compacting experiences among teachers, and increasing the opportunities of participation and intereaction between teacher and children, to create a positive and co-prosperity environment.
