Formerly she has been relegated to the role of “mom,” but now she reveals all the sides of her nature: desiring, attractive, anxious. She becomes a woman in full.
The story focusses on the triangular relationship between the woman, her young fiancé, and her only daughter, who is a young professional and, coincidentally, going through problems in her own marriage. The daughter initially feels anger at her mother, but when she sees that her mother is a woman, too, she feels compassion for her, and her feelings change.
