Most of the residents are Coastal Amis who preserved the coastal living tradition. The art of Kang-Kou Tribe has several characteristics,” First of all, most of the creators are local residents. Next, the creative material and connotation are usually combined with local ecology. Last but not least, from the creative process to art display all emphasizes on dwelling experiences and that showcases the life world of the local. In addition to normal artistic creation, local festivals such as "Art pakongko" and "2017 Mibaliw Wetland Art Festival" also become ways for creators to demonstrate local features, and for outsiders to identify the place. The theory of "Ecological Aesthetics" that emerged by the end of the twentieth century, advocates that the establishment of a sense of homeland, the harmonious coexistence of human and nature, and the shift from formal attention to Dasein, is closely related to the theory of “Place” which emphasizes the sense of place, the authenticity of the place, and the place aesthetics. Combined with the two theories, (the author) entered the Kang-Kou Tribe to obtain primary data and to come up with second-hand literature comprehensive analysis. By means of cross-analysis that compared the theoretical concepts, interviews and the contents of the literature, and the Taiwanese case as an example, this paper enriches the fields of place and ecological aesthetics, and organizes the Kang-Kou Tribe characteristics that transform art as a communicative media. The author concludes five points,”First, the artist takes "Recycle" and "Sustainability" as the guidelines for artistic creation. Second, the tribe put a strong emphasis on an experience - from "individual" to "collective" art action, between the creator and the experience of the spectators. Third, the re-position of "human"- the symbiotic relationship between human and nature. Fourth, the spatial and temporal disorganization - the spatial production of "place" and "society". Fifth, the construction of multi-links - human and human, human and selves, human and ecology, human and the tribes, and the link between place and society.” The artists in Kang-Kou Tribe have an ecological awareness and usually concretize the abstract knowledge and experiences by art. The goal of art festivals in Kang-Kou is to revive the place by multi-links to reshape the place. In this study, the readers can observe the role played by art has become the media between “human-natural-social", the ecological aesthetics in place are thus shaped and seen.
