Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 劇場藝術創作研究所 === 106 === This dissertation comprises two parts: the play itself, and the compositional report upon the play. The play commences with a man named Z, burying a body of an unnamed adolescent whom Z just killed in a sandpit of an abolished park. While he buries the corpse and tries to perform his private mourning, he encounters a runaway girl interrupting his rite. The girl claims the ownership of the sandpit and accuses Z of destroying her house. She demands Z to leave immediately. Due to the fear of exposing his misconduct, Z refuses to submit. Instead, he requests the girl to go. The girl denies the request as well. They then start an argue over the legitimacy of the ownership of the very sandpit. With this fight going on, the dark secrets of the two individuals subsequently start coming to light and falling apart. The compositional report focuses on the body politics in the play. In addition, the report discusses the interpretation of the play title, the construction of the characters, and the analysis of the symbols used in the play from various angles.
