Further more， this improvement also makes our environment smarter， safer and more convenient. The concept of IoT （Internet of Things) headed the information industry and the development of technology into a new era. General speaking， in IoT environment， there are many objects that surround objects and people will be on the network in one form or another. These objects sense， control， communicate and manage between each other supporting people’s necessities of life， such as eating， clothing， housing， traffic， education， entertainment and health care. The traditional life styles are forced to transform into new ones， which are more intelligent， easily handled and manageable. In this study， the current research， further analysis and industry tendency of smart home in Taiwan are discussed. What will be the main challenge when smart home is constructed? How the government coordinates with main smart home solution provider and facilities manufacturers? The observations and investigations of current states and trends in future of smart home in neighboring countries are conducted as well. In the conclusion， we propose an induction via case collection and study and make some suggestion for better development environment in smart home in Taiwan.
