碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 中國音樂學系碩士班 === 106 === Since 1880, A.J.Ellis published the book 《The History of Musical Pitch》, it became influential in pitch and frequency of traditional ethnomusicology, as well as analytical determination studies of cent, which in academic research field of ethnomusicology and world music. And since 1970, after Charles Seeger invented Melograph Model C, it led extensive discussion and reflection about pitch form of traditional music studies, especially inspired the way of notation. Currently, due to the lessons of sight-singing and dictation in professional education musicale, especially emphasize the importance of absolute sound sensation, most of the method of notation in traditional ethnomusicology focused on pitch and beat, but neglected recording a variety of sound chamber, such as portamento or vibrato. However, concerning the continued tradition with sound chamber, it almost expresses by oral teaching inspires true understanding, or some conventional music notation system; but in fact, which is not seriously concerned about the training of the method of notation. Therefore, it became very important to use Charles Seeger's Melograph Model C to achieve exquisite effect on the melody curve of pitch. For this reason, this thesis will focus on using computer software such as praat, the same functions as the Melograph Model C, on notation of traditional ethnomusicology; and also take dictated with notated cases of 57 students who majored in professional musical for example, to think about what problem will face while actual notating in ethnomusicology.
