| Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 美洲研究所亞太研究數位學習碩士在職專班 === 106 === The Dominican Republic has benefited from an important cooperation from the Republic of China (Taiwan), which has reached different sectors, including education, which has been chosen to develop the present investigation, trying to assess how it has manifested Taiwanese cooperation specifically in the educational field of the Dominican Republic and its importance in this field, trying to cover the period 2012 to 2017.
Nowadays, the role of education is essential to face this globalized world, where human beings need to acquire the necessary skills to avoid exclusion and social marginalization and to keep up with the demand of today''s society, and therefore, the cooperation of qualified nations such as Taiwan in this regard, can be very significant for the achievement of the development objectives of the Dominican Republic.
This research will present in a first chapter the methodological aspects, followed by the theoretical framework, continuing with an outline of the generalities of the educational model of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and of the regulations involved in the cooperation between both nations, to conclude with the analysis and presentation of the results.
