Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 美洲研究所亞太研究數位學習碩士在職專班 === 106 === The main objective of the research is to present the high incidence of Taiwanese cooperation in social inclusion in the Dominican Republic during the years 2012-2016, period corresponding to the first government of current President Danilo Medina Sánchez, with special emphasis on Comprehensive Care Center for Disability (CAID), a project valued positively by the Dominican population, countries of the region, international organizations and the Taiwanese authorities themselves. The CAID, as they are generally known, aims to establish a model of care for children with disabilities from 0 to 10 years, based on multidisciplinary intervention, to maximize and develop their cognitive, socio-emotional, adaptive, psychomotor and communicative, through educational and therapeutic strategies that involve the family and the community.
