Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 企業管理學系碩士在職專班 === 106 === Nowadays, operating goal for an organization is to pursue profit. Because profit relies on salesmen, salesmen are important to the organization. In addition, how to increase the profitability of an enterprise is associated with the performance of employees and their working values. This study focused on exploring whether the personality traits of salesmen have a significant impact on job performance and work values. The research also evaluated the mediating role of work value on the relationship between personality traits and job performance. This study investigated salesmen in various industries. Convenient sampling method was used to distribute online questionnaires. The data were collected between March 12 and March 17 2018, 2018. A total of 220 valid questionnaires were analyzed. The results of the study are as follows:
1. “Personality traits” have a significant positive influence on “work value”.
2. “Work value” has a significant positive influence on “performance”.
3. “Personality traits” has a significant positive influence on “performance”.
4. “Work value” has mediating effect in the relationship between “personality traits” and “performance”.
