Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 管理學院經營管理EMBA專班 === 106 === Taiwan’s capital market has gradually lost its prime position and the comparative advantage in scale or growth rate has been partly eroded in the past ten years. In particular, the U.S. subprime mortgage and European debt crisis has taken its toll on confidence among investors and consumers. The country’s investment environment is facing both external and internal challenges. Taiwans securities market indeed should look for upgrade and reform, while the authorities are responsible for open up new business for the local securities companies. Nowadays, the problems faced by the securities industry in Taiwan include: lack of globalized efficiency platforms, low business diversification, low creativity in financial products, and stricter regulations, etc. All of this has resulted in shrinking daily trading turnover and market size. The weakening growth momentum in the securities market has obviously weighed on the profitability of the securities companies.
The purpose of this thesis is to explore the innovation value and business model adopted by the research team in securities firms. In addition to literature review and related network data, we also conduct some in-depth interviews with senior managers and experts in the securities market on the issues such as team management, key resources, and core competitiveness. The results have showed that strong leadership, talented employee, and better organizational competency are the key to success. It is also important to use “Blue Ocean” Strategy to create innovative business models for cross-market, cross-platform, and multi-product investment. Every team leader in the market should be aware of risks and develop better research foresights. Changes can be a crisis but we can turn it into opportunity.
This article is providing reference that may allow companies to find new opportunities for profit growth and reach the following purposes:
1.Analysis of Taiwan’s stock market will allow us to understand the structure and build business model through the core values of securities dealers.
2.The value innovation framework of the research team should be identified via a complete research method and use the “Blue Ocean Strategy” to achieve the goals.
