Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 106 === About 8 million people worldwide suffer from Parkinsons disease, and the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment Big (LSVT BIG) is designed for patients with Parkinson’s disease and is rehabilitated by intensive daily core movement training. However, there is still a lack of a quantification system that can effectively track and monitor the rehabilitation process automatically. In order to solve the three problems for physical therapists in rehabilitative treatment: (1) Does the patient go for rehabilitation after returning home? (2) How long is each rehabilitation? (3) How to track and analyze the rehabilitation process? This study proposes a set of nine-axial sensors and wearable devices, combined with microcontroller, multiplexer, Bluetooth equipment, etc., which can effectively record, track, and assist patients in rehabilitation. The system consists of 10 sensors worn on specific areas recommended by the physical therapists and based on the anatomical definition of the human joint angle to observe the specification of 16 feature angles so that the body posture and measurement analysis of the measured data can be consistent with medical demand. Using the Unity 3D platform to integrate interactive functions, the gesture correction prompts and rehabilitation movement demonstration videos are instantly displayed on the screen to guide the patients correct movement to enhance the rehabilitation effect. All the action information enables the physician to grasp the rehabilitation state at one or more patients by the same time. The system has undergone four phases of clinical testing. Each phase has three to four simultaneous tests, four times a week, an hour each time, and 16 hours of rehabilitation training each person. Some experimental results show that rehabilitation exercise has a significant improvement in the patients specific joint movement ability, which means that the system can quantify the patients exercise data and intuitively tell the patients progress by numbers, The system has consistent monitoring effects for 16 indicators, such as flexion, extension, external rotation, and rotation.
