Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 分子科學與工程系有機高分子碩士班 === 106 === The progress of todays technology makes people now living very convenient, but the convenience of life has also brought high shakeout of science and technology equipment, such as liquid crystal display (LCD) screen display. LCD contains high value materials, element, indium (In), which can be recycled from indium tin oxide (ITO) based conductive glass. “In” is a precious metal with limited resource, so it is worthy to develop technique to recycle the “In” from the abandoned LCD. We disassembled the LCD, isolated the ITO glass by removing the thin film from the panel, crashed the glass and extracted “In” by acid treatment. Finally, the powder of indium can be obtained by precipitation or electrolysis.
