For instance, the AM/FM radio is a wireless product since 1920s. Nonetheless, there was no digital modulation technology available at that time. We could only transmit a small amount of data in the limited bandwidth. By using those digital modulation technologies, we constantly increase the amount of data transmission under the same limited bandwidth nowadays. The use of OFDM/OFDMA and MIMO technology enables multiple antennas to operate in the same frequency band, which is a multiple growth of data transmission. However, those technologies have also increased the difficulty of product verification. Increasing the investment in production equipment and the numbers of test items is warranted. The multi-antennas design has not only brought multiple transmission data volumes to users, but also brought multiple test items and longer cycle time in manufacturing. Due to complicated testing procedures and items, false rejection rates can still be prominent in practice, even getting higher and higher. In order to avoid misjudgment of good products, engineers have to design a re-verification process. This process may not be efficient since its purpose is merely to assure quality of the product. This thesis is developed based on the viewpoint of improving production efficiency. In this thesis, “seven basic tools of quality” and “PDCA quality cycle” quality techniques are utilized. The process “Tx power” is selected for the case study, which requires the longest testing time and incurs the highest false rejection rate.
