Summary: | 碩士 === 東海大學 === 教育研究所 === 106 === This study aims to design and integrate mountain-exploring into the curriculum of life education and then research the effects on the twelfth grade students’ attitudes toward life after the implementation. And in the process of teaching and learning activities, it can help understand the difficulties the program has faced and find out possible solutions. Eventually, the teacher may reflect on their own improvements in curriculum designs and achievements in life education.
The research has been proceeding by adopting action research as the method and designing a mountain-exploring program. The program takes 37 students from Hong-ming Senior High School as experimental objects, including six indoor preparation classes and five outdoor mountain-climbing activities. During each class and after the whole program, class observation records, students’ reflections, worksheets, feedback forms, and interview records are collected as data for analysis to research the effects of mountain-exploring education integrated into life education.
The conclusions of this research include the following four points:
1. It has an positive influence on 12-year compulsory educaiton by integrating
mountain education into life education.
2. It can improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning by way of integrating
mountain education into life education.
3. Mountain education is helpful in implementing life education and can be regarded
as a live teaching material to it.
4. With the integration of mountain and life education and by communication,
adaptation, and human resources to respond to difficulties.
Based on the above research, I put forth some related suggestions as a reference for future research and teaching practitioners.
