In order to handle huge health care needs of elders, long-term care institutions leading in the care information system to help the work of the clinical nursing care, reduce the workload of nursing care, and also improve the nursing care quality of the long-term care institutions. The main purpose of this study is to know the factors affecting the nursing assistant who use the care information system. Based on research structure of the UTAUT2 through Venkatesh, Thong, & Xu in 2012, this study adds a new construct called “Perceived threat” to extend UTAUT2 and aims to investigate whether the long-term care institutions leading in related information system will have a negative impact on the users, through this structure tries to explore the acceptance of care information system assisted the work of the clinical nursing care. the nursing staffs of long-term care institutions served as study participants who responded to questionnaire that included scales developed by the related literature. The valid data comprised 285 the nursing staffs and were collected by Web and Paper Questionnaire. The deta were analyzed by IBM SPSS software Statistics 24 and SmartPLS 3.0, the results showed that the following hypotheses have significant effects:(1) performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitation conditions, habit, and perceived threat have significant influence on behavioral intention when nursing staffs using care information system. (2) The gender affects the habit for nursing staffs of behavioral intention has significant moderating effect.
