Summary: | 碩士 === 亞洲大學 === 經營管理學系碩士在職專班 === 106 === 「Sustainable Operation」is a universal business goal for the vast majority of enterprises, especially for the first generation of those founders, who have established their business and made a successful, they always look forward to their next generations to continue and make a sustainable business operation. How can the first generation of enterprises hand over their business to the second generation, even making a long lasting generation and generation business, it has been an important issue for Taiwan enterprises.
However, in recent years, both the external environment and internal management models have experienced a huge evolution, no matter the competitive landscape, management tools, or business models have substantial changes, the success model of first generation seems very hard to be exactly copied to the second generation.
In addition to the original abilities and conditions of first generation, the second generation has to follow the changes of space-time background and the new technological updates, and also the new management tools application, so that the enterprises can be able to continue growth, to reach the goal of 「Sustainable Operation」
This research is based on the study of related literatures, to find out those capabilities to support traditional business manager success, and to establish the competency models, including managerial competency, core competency and profession competency. Then expand it to the study of abilities of sustainable operation for the second generation , through the 「Competence set expansion theory」and the 「factors of sustainable operation」, including business ethics, business ecosystem, and corporate governance. The questionnaire is filled in by 4 roles which are professional manager、founder、owner and second generation successor, analyzing overall & individual role’s point of view by AHP and cross analysis as well in order to learn the priority and statistic weight for competency and the factors of sustainable operation, expect to offer more reference and applications to the Academic and Business fields
The questionnaires were issued by sampling of 345 questionnaires and 124 valid samples, the effective response rate was 35.9%. The results showed that 4 roles of questionnaires have same point of view in accordance “managerial competency” is most important competency;「strategic planning」 is most important ability under managerial competency thought by 4 roles;Every roles have different point of views of core competency separately, 「accountability」 was selected by professional managers、「Integrity」 was chose by owners/funders and 「Innovation」 was first priority for successors;the ability of 「communication and coordination」 was most important capability agreed by owners/funders and successors thought 「self development」 is most important;The factors of sustainable operation, the business ethnic was pay more attention by professional managers/owners/founder and successors are more interesting on Eco system;Lastly, 4 roles have same opinion of the statistic weight of business development goal followed by reshaping excellent corporate culture、 fulfilling corporate social responsibility、setting up Eco system then pay attention on green industry.
