So a creative game was used by this paper to work as an anti-drowning practice by introducing anti-drowning knowledge in the game with the aim of narrowing the distance between people and disaster prevention advocacy. Relevant literary theories were first explored and gaming cases were collected to serve as a basis for creation. The actual “anti-drowning” game was then created through following the game design theory, setting the game design theory into Monopoly game where the public is familiar with, using the anti-drowning knowledge as the game rules and theme, and designing the visual application theory that is suitable for the public. In the later stage of creation, players of different ages were invited to conduct the game test. The game was corrected based on the problems found in the game test, making the game more feasible and educational. The research findings found that not only can the game design allow players to learn the anti-drowning knowledge while playing, but also guide the players to increase their interest in anti-drowning and drowning contingency measures. It can also increase the mutual friendships and enhance the affection of family members while playing together. The game performance obtained from this creation can also be applied to other areas to work as a medium to promote disaster prevention knowledge. While introducing the anti-drowning awareness into Monopoly game, it is not just playing simple anti-drowning game alone, but also removing the dogmatic anti-drowning advocacy through the game to simulate real life environment.
