In recent years, the issue is important that environmental factors (airtemperature, relative humidity, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, particulate matter, bio-aerosol, light, noise and ventilation) may be associated with physical and psychological conditions of healthcare workers in the long term care facilities. A cross-section design will be conducted. Environmental parameters in the long term care facilities are measured by different direct-reading instruments to compare with the Indoor Air Quality Standards of Taiwan (IAQST) and the physical and psychological conditions of healthcare workers are surveyed by the professional questionnaire. One hundred healthcare workers who have been admitted to long-term care facilities for more than three month will be recruited. We expected there must be relationships between environmental factors and the health effects of healthcare workers in the long term care facilities. The average concentration of bacteria and fungi in each institution was CFU/m3. (C organization) Bacterial concentration 1288.25±3.7 CFU/m3 maximum is higher than other institutions and tends to be close to regulatory requirements. Percentage of fungi in air in long-length lighting. Among the long-term institutions, Penicillium (65.5%), Aspergillus (19.5%) and Yeast (7.92%) followed by Cladosporium (4.65%). ) Correlation coefficient with the Fararium (2.45%) PTSD and environmental factors. It was found that PTSD was negatively correlated with temperature (r=-0.339) and ambient noise (r=-0.21), correlated with full illumination (dark) (r=0.327) and fungi There was a significant correlation (r=0.335,p<0.01). There is a significant correlation between "too dry air" and "gastrointestinal disease", and occasionally/frequently/daily in the "too dry air" working environment and suffering from "gastrointestinal disease". The winning percentage is 4.6 times that of the normal environment. There is a significant correlation between "air does not circulate" and "respiratory diseases". and occasionally/frequently/daily in the " air does not circulate " working environment, the patient suffers from "respiratory diseases". At 6.6 times that of the normal environment, too dry air andair does not circulate can cause caregivers to develop gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases.
