Especially, food safety becomes a social issue, and results in making people paying more and more attention to food and dining quality. Eating healthier and asking fresh food are requested by most of people. Many stores and super markets have claimed that they provide fresh fruits and vegetables delivered with good environment condition. Delivering fresh ingredient to consumers quickly and safely highly depends on good logistics. In this thesis, a management system is set up for the cargo fleet of logistics delivery. The system includes a data collection platform for the shipping delivery vehicles and the cloud data processing and management. The data collection platform is composed of three sensor nodes in the cabin and the center unit based on the LinkIt Smart 7688 Duo development board. The three sensor nodes made by the Smat Block Sensor Board in cabin can sense the temperature and humidity of the frozen, cold and room temperature storage cabinets. The collected data at the sensor nodes then transferred to the center unit through the LoRa wireless communication links. The center unit processes the received data and then uploads them to the cloud server through the mobile network. This thesis also builds a fleet database and management system based on the data collection platform. An iOS or Android APP are also developed to browse the food shipping environment in real-time. In this thesis, we have established a fleet management prototype system, and the system functions have also been verified.
