Summary: | 碩士 === 南臺科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 106 === The operation safety and reliability of a power system highly depend on whether the power transformer is working properly or not. Therefore the failure diagnosis of transformer is a very important task. Most of the newly developed power transformers are embedded online failure diagnosis function. However, there still are some old power transformers under working without this kind of online diagnosis function and need the conventional diagnosis procedure for detecting failure. In this thesis, a fast power transformer fault diagnosis system is proposed and implemented. This system consists of a dissolved gas sensing data acquisition and wireless transmission module, and a remote fault diagnosis module. The data acquisition and transmission module can obtain data of the dissolved gases, namely Hydrogen(H2), Methane(CH4), Ethane(C2H6), Ethylene(C2H4), Acetylene(C2H2), and Carbon monoxide(CO) through a Dissolved Gas Analysis(DGA) equipment interface. The obtained gas data will be sent to the remote fault diagnosis module. This diagnosis module will employ a correlation methodology to detect if the power transformer is going to be out of order. If the power transformer is detected having some failures in highly probability, the transformer has to be shut down and gone through a maintenance process.
