Through vision and interaction, commodity information can be delivered effectively; that is why window display is an important tool for displaying merchandise and it can raise up the customers shopping desire to enter the store. With the development of technology, the window display catches customers’ eye more attractively by changing the displaying type from static to interactive gradually. A new generation technology, the transparent display is breaking the past trend of static viewing which combines physical goods and virtual information with transparent features, making the window have more different spaces to design and enhancing interaction between products and customers. The study on the technology of transparent display applying to the interactive window places goods in the window then designs a gesture recognition system to control goods which makes customers understand goods function from the interactive and researches the design of application to transparent display to interactive window whether affect the level of customer interest to products. The study creates a simple and convenient interactive mode for the window display by using a gesture recognition system combined with a transparent display, providing the transparent window environment a variety of interactive modes. Customers are able to get fun from the interaction and easily to understand the window product’s function and related information in a short time.
