A total of 355 questionnaires were distributed to all the sixth grade students in an elementary school at Tainan City. 355 were collected, so the response rate was 100%, and valid questionnaires were 314, accounting for 88.5%. SPSS Statistics and SPSS Amos using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were used to analyze and test the hypotheses. The results showed that: (1) There is a highly positive correlation between growth mindset and learning motivation. In other words, students have more growth mindset, their learning motivation is stronger. (2) There is a moderate positive correlation between learning motivation and learning achievement. In other words, the stronger motivation of students, the better their learning achievement is. (3) The relationships between growth mindset and the learning achievement are not directly related. In other words, students who have growth mindset will not directly affect their learning achievement. (4) Learning motivation plays as a mediator between the growth mindset and learning achievement. In other words, Growth mindset would lead to better learning achievement only through generating higher learning motivation. Finally, based on the results of the study conclusions, this study provides some advice for educators and future researchers. Nowadays in Taiwan, grass-roots teachers have put forward a lot of innovative and effective teaching methods, which already became the domestic teacher's favorite, and even foreign teachers learned from. Although growth mindset is already very popular in foreign countries, and teaching growth mindset has also been promoted for several years in foreign countries, but growth mindset has not yet introduced and promoted in Taiwan. The results of foreign studies showed that for many educators growth mindset teaching method is a good remedy which can stimulate students' motivation to learn such that students become brave to accept the challenge, take a positive attitude at learning with optimism, and ultimately improve their learning achievement.
