Description
Summary:碩士 === 南臺科技大學 === 化學工程與材枓工程系 === 106 === Silicon carbide nanofiber, SiC, was successfully manufactured by using rice straws as raw material via carbothermal reduction method in this study. The effect of the different parameters, including acid/base pretreatment, gas environment and silica additives, on the SiC nanofiber structure and yielding was also studied. The morphology of SiC nanofiber could be observed by using FT-SEM. The XRD diffraction pattern showed the diffraction peaks at 2θ = 30.0°, 60.0°, 71.7° reveal that the SiC nanofiber product has β-SiC crystalline structure. Furthermore, as SiC nanofiber was added into PVDF solution and spinning coating to film or electrospinning to fiber, the ratio of γ and β phase domain within PVDF would be increased from FTIR measurement. The maximum ratio of γ phase crystalline within PVDF film can be over than 80% as 0.1% of SiC nanofiber was added into PVDF film. In addition, the maximum ratio of β phase crystalline within PVDF fibers can be over than 90% as 0.1% of SiC nanofiber was added into PVDF fiber. This result reveals the performance of PVDF fiber on piezoelectric applications would be improved.
