In this study, the effect of air pollution on solar power generation efficiency was discussed. The power generation data of three solar stations in the Kaohsiung such as Gangshan, Ziguan, and Yanchao, were used to compare with the values of PM2.5.The results show air pollution of PM2.5 is cutting energy output by more than 15 percent in certain parts of the study cases.
