Summary: | 碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 106 === This study focuses mainly on the analysis of participation motivation, leisure involvement and Place attachment of recreational scuba divers and put emphasis on the understanding for the difference and relevance among them. The objects of study are sampled as per Liuqiu Island scuba divers and 178 valid samples are collected through questionnaire survey. Utilizing SPSS to conduct descriptive statistics and difference analysis and perform the hypothesis testing through structural equation models. The research results show below:
1.For the four factor dimensions of Participation Motivation for Liuqiu island scuba divers, “Stimulus Avoidance” has the highest average scores, while “Competent Proficiency” has the lowest. For the three factor dimensions of Leisure Involvement, “Attraction” factor dimension has the highest average scores. For the two factor dimensions of Place Attachment, “Place Reliance” has the highest average scores.
2.For the Participation Motivation section, leisure scuba divers show significant differences in the areas of age, education, income, out-of-air scuba tanks, history of diving, diving level and diving system. For the Leisure Involvement section, there shows significant differences in the areas of diving expenses, out-of-air scuba tanks, history of diving, diving level and diving system. For the Place Attachment section, there shows significant differences in the areas of education and diving level.
3.Participation Motivation and Leisure Involvement have significant positive impact, Leisure Involvement and Place Attachment have significant positive impact, while Participation Motivation and Place Attachment have significant negative impact. That means scuba divers play the full mediator role between the degree of Leisure Involvement, Participation Motivation and the belonging of Place Attachment in Liuqiu Island.
