The study means to investigate the relationship between the two teaching methods of PE in junior high: first, the multimedia-integrated teaching method; second, the traditional didactic instruction method, and raising students’ learning interests and achievements during physical fitness teaching. This study employs a quasi-experiment with two groups pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study are two classes of eighth graders from a junior high school in downtown Kaohsiung City. One class of 27 people is the experimental group which takes the physical fitness course with the multimedia-integrated teaching method. The other class of 27 people is the control group which takes the course with the traditional didactic instruction method. 54 people in total participate the course of 12 classes that last for 6 weeks. Before the course, the two classes are asked to do the standing broad jump as pretest and do it again as posttest after 6 weeks. The students of experimental group are requested to fill the feedback sheet and have an individual interview focusing on the influence on learning interests. The data is analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test (independent), product-moment correlation, and chi-square by SPSS version 22. The study is based on mainly quantitative and then qualitative analysis. The research results are as follows: 1. Physical fitness teaching by Integrating multimedia significantly raises students’ learning achievements of experimental group. 2. The students positively regard that the multimedia teaching materials help raise learning interests.
