The need for medical care has changed from the original treatment to treatment and care, so how to provide a complete telemedicine is an important issue. With the era of information technology, the purpose of this paper is to establish a recognized system of bedridden behavior. In the pressure sensor for mattress, the recognized system can detect bed posture, body movement and position and so on. This is a new interactive way to synchronize healthcare, caregivers and cares. Home care can not only do long-term monitoring, but also relieve medical staff burden, and improve the medical quality and efficiency. Home care is not limited by time and space barriers. This paper presents a method to detect and identify lying position. This method uses five portable devices, namely Force-Sensitive Resistor (FSR), Arduino Uno, CC3000 WiFi shield, Banana Pi and android APP. The pressure value is collected by FSR sensor. Then the pressure value is converted by the Arduino Uno. Sensing information is transmitted to the database through CC3000 WiFi shield and Ethernet. In this method, we applied the smartphone and android APP. Through the application of android APP, we can browse real-time status, query historical data and statistical charts. Simulation results show that pressure sensor for mattress not only accurately detect respiratory movements to achieve the needs of sleep monitoring, and even combined with five devices. Our research can be applied to telemedicine for detecting and recognizing the lying positions and can be help in the care.
