A case of moderate autistic child in New Taipei City high-grade elementary school student was evaluated. The purpose of this study is to discuss that how to process emotional problems of an autistic student and what difficult is. This study also discussed how to help the emotion of autistic child. Research method uses colored painted Mandala activity to reduce the emotion problems. After parents and child agreed, taking 13 weeks colored painted Mandala activity. This study observe and recorded the Jack’s (faked name) course situation and interview major caregiver, special education teachers, and assistants. By these ways, this study wants to understand Jack’s emotion problems and decrease the negative emotion. Before taking colored painted Mandala activity, this study let Jack do simple colored painted practices. Through 13 weeks activity and interview, research results were as follows: 1. The positive enhanced awarding rule needs to deal with Jack at the beginning, and awarding things have to be various and diversity; 2. Colored painted Mandala activity can reflect Jack’s emotion. At the end of testing, Jack can use more stable emotion and efficient motion to finish colored painted Mandala production. Conclusion of this study are colored painted Mandala activity can progressively help the autistic child stable his emotion. In the future, this study suggests that for different autistic children can use different executed methods of colored painted Mandala activity and to develop more activity to help autistic children’s effective learning.
