The knowledge of gas motorcycles and electric motorcycles was used to help in interpreting consumers' preference for adopting electric motorcycle services.
With 172 valid questionnaires retrieved, it was found that the respondents strongly preferred sudden unintended acceleration avoidance system, 2-year warranty with no distance limit, extended warranty for powertrain systems, maintenance, extended warranty plans, battery durability, the sensitivity of braking systems, warranty for genuine accessories, battery lives, tire specifications, tire pressure settings, supporting genuine accessories, and warranty for non-expendable parts; The respondents weakly preferred delayed blanking (in front and rear marker lights), changeable dashboard backlight colors (the color of ring-like indicator lights), turning daytime running lamps on all the time, types of top boxes, over-speed warning sounds, models and wheelbases. The results can be provided as the reference for electric motorcycle manufacturers to plan for their new products and to optimize existing functions developed by them, and the results may also be the reference for the promotion of industries related to electric motorcycles.
