Summary: | 碩士 === 國防大學政治作戰學院 === 政治研究所 === 106 === Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF) has been Japan's armed forces since the World War II so far. It was established on July 1, 1954, and consisted of three branches: the Ground Self-Defense Force, the Maritime Self-Defense Force and the Air Self-Defense Force. After Japan’s surrender in World War II, their military was disbanded and military institutions were revoked. Because of the restrictions of The Constitution of Japan (Peace Constitution), the Self-Defense Forces became an armed forces that could not be called an army but was responsible for defending Japan’s security, also playing an important role as world’s top military force in the peace relations among the United States, China, Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific regions.
Geographically, Japan and Taiwan are both categorized as island countries that are long and narrow from north to south and take defense operations as defense policies. In terms of “Island Defense” operations, Japan is roughly similar to ours in the deployment of troops and the execution of troop tasks.
This study is mainly about the dispatch of Japan Self-Defense Forces and focuses on defense dispatch, public safety dispatch, police protection dispatch and disaster response dispatch. Through the induction and discussion, the study tries to understand the dispatch requirements, dispatch timings, procedures of C2(command and control), and operational situation of the statutory tasks for Japan Self-Defense Forces, and further explore whether its practical application of task dispatch, command, dispatch and control of operations in legal systems is worth learning and reference of our country.
