CCP’s principle of promoting online public opinion guidance is based on both China’s national interests and Communist Party spirit. Regarding any political, economic, and cultural behavior, it is the highest guiding principle to safeguard China’s national interests. Any words or actions that damage their national interests will be traced, reviewed, and punished by the relevant national regulatory agencies. The principles of the party's press, guided by the direction of the Chinese Communist Party's administration, are the basic standards for the journalist's work and are also the basic requirements of the Chinese Communist Party for relevant official media. This article observes South Korea's deployment of the THAAD anti-missile system. The CCP uses the Internet public opinion to guide actual cases. Based on the understanding of the Internet public opinion and related works by Chinese mainland scholars, this paper discusses and analyzes the principles of the CCP’s Internet public opinion guidance, its purpose and mode. Finally, the CCP took the lead of the South Korean deployment of the THAAD system in the public opinion, examining the challenges and limitations of the CCP’s operation of the Internet public opinion guidance.
