This research studies the responses of the investors toward the evolutionary process of the legislation, and the responses of them recognizing violations against the Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation revealed in the Corporate Social Responsibility Reports This research adopts Event Study to examine abnormal returns of stock price. The result of the T-test indicates that investors hold a positive attitude toward the legislation. However, violations against the Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation revealed in the Corporate Social Responsibility Reports have limited influence to investors.
