碩士 === 實踐大學 === 企業管理學系碩士在職專班 === 106 === The industrial cluster in Taiwan is the model of global innovation industry cluster. A series of economic activities of enterprises within the cluster are the important elements to improve the industrial competitiveness. The resources are integrated through cluster power and various links on the industry supply chain are connected together to strengthen enterprise’s competitive strength. This research used industrial cluster effect to explore the key factors of Taiwan’s valve manufacturing industry and adopted Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to conduct the expert interview to gain the weight and priority of various evaluation criteria and find out the key factors, so as to reach the conclusion and put forward the suggestions. 　This research shows that the important dimensions for the key factors of cluster effect of Taiwan’s valve manufacturing industry include: 1.Dimension of cost factor 2.Dimension of network relation 3.Dimension of human resource The affecting factors are arranged in order as below: （1）Reduction of cost of raw materials （2）Client （3）Reduction of transportation cost （4）Salary and reward system （5）Supply partner The results indicate the key factors of cluster effect of Taiwan’s valve manufacturing industry. The analysis finds that the above five factors are the key factors in Hierarchy 2 with the greatest effect on the cluster effect. The factor weight of this research can be used as the reference in future operating strategies by Taiwan’s valve manufacturing industry.
