| Summary: | 碩士 === 實踐大學 === 工業產品設計學系碩士班 === 106 === What music brings to people is unlimited imagination and pleasure. The aesthetics in it not only can be media for communicating emotion but also inspire other types of creations. As a designer, can I succeed the will of the composer, create the idea of object design by tangiblizing the objective forms within the musical composition and express the mutual emotional contents?
The direction of this work was set by understanding musical aesthetics, researching the possibility of transformation of musical composition, and analyzing the musical aesthetics within the current object. To arouse the mutual emotion between viewers and the object creator, I propose a experimental method of creating--"transforming the musical aesthetics into object creations.”
To research the feasibility of this experimental method, I chose the minimalist music "reflection" as the transforming target, developing a series of lamp design "Yoi Lamp series", which will be the example of this experimental method. I also organized an exhibition to demonstrate the idea, collecting emotional feedbacks of viewers toward this work as the conclusion and the possible reference for future development.
