One of the optical components firms is Largan, which is the biggest firm of producing plastic lens in the whole world. The study aims at Largan’s development history and Largan’s key successful factors. The study adapts single case study method to survey Largan’s development processes and manager’s management. We get the conculusion that Largan has self-sufficiency property in technology , human training , machinery equipment , and product producing. According to resource-based view , Largan can get sustainable competitive advantage is due to he establish strategic resources continuously. The study takes Largan Co.,Ltd. company as a single case and uses qualitative research which based on the collected data and experts interview. Regarding the content , I discussed the relevance of optics and photoelectricity first. Next I elaborated technology, development and current status of Precision Optical Components Industry. After that, I aimed at this case study and design the outline of interview through Five Forces Analysis, SWOT analysis, business strategy theory. Finally I summed up all opinions of experts to make conclusions and suggestions. I analyzed business strategies of the case study as below:specialization, cultivating professional field of product development, following the trend , high penetration of products , consideration ahead of customers all the time, innovating competitive products for customers , grasping the independent development of the technology and equipment of core competence , internal training, keeping core technology in Taiwan.
