The researcher used a semi-structured interview method and literature analysis to comprehend the predicament and development of the rural area elementary school and experimental education and also use the methods to prepare an interview outline. The current school principal, a director, three teachers, two retired teachers and two parents as the subjects of the interview, supplemented by document analysis as a research method, the following conclusions were obtained based on the interview content and the document analysis results: 1. The school-based curriculum of target school had been brewing for many years. Through the efforts of the principal and senior retired teachers, the school applied for school-pattern experimental education. 2. Most teachers in target school agreed with the ideas of experimental education in transformed schools, but they had different opinions on the process and method of promotion. 3. Since promoting to a school-based experimental education school, target school had received a lot of positive affirmations from students, parents, and communities. 4. Both administrative and teaching staff could understand the predicament of the school in transition. However, the school’s current response strategy had not fully solved the problem. In spite of this, it is possible to put forward its difficulties and the need for assistance and suggestions. It can be seen that the target direction is the same.
