This Action research is adopted in the study and the objects are including 14 second grade students in one class at Primary School. . The time extends to fourteen months (from April, 2017 to May, 2018), and the teaching program is put into practice for about nine weeks (from September, 2017 to December, 2017). It intends to realize the effect and influence of Self - questioning Six Wherewith through observation, videotaping, reflective journals, and relevant documents such as studying sheets, feedback questionnaire,etc. The results of the research are concluded in four main points, as listed below: 1. Students can improve their reading comprehension ability through Self-questioning Six Wherewith. 2. Self-questioning Six Wherewith is combined with cooperation learning to enhance students' language skills. 3. Teaching of Self-questioning Six Wherewith improve students' interest in reading. 4.
