In the process, through the collection of relevant literature materials of masks and smart sensing technology, the user experience questionnaire is used to collect the user's demand attributes. The most important need to improve the relevant parameters of the mask quality specifications and user needs by QFD method to convert the user's needs into mask design specifications. And then we apply the technological innovation and design thinking methods to make breakthrough design improvements and meet the objectives of this research effectively.
The statistical variables of the basic data of this study include gender, age, education level, income, religious beliefs, etc., in order to understand whether the statistical variables of basic data have different acceptance of mask products, and carry out chi-square verification analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the acceptance of mask products by different genders and religious beliefs did not significant differences, but the different ages, education levels, incomes have significant differences in masks. According to the Department of Health’s Disease Control Bureau showed that wearing masks can prevent infectious diseases, except avoid yourself being infected by viruses or bacteria, or avoid transmitting viruses or bacteria to others. It is the first line of defense in epidemic prevention operations. It shows that its importance is valued and highly concerned. Therefore, how to grasp the mask immediately developing new trends to explore the potential needs of the consumer group will create more use value and prevention of related epidemics. However, the masks on the market can be said to be mature products. How to further extend the life value of products or apply innovative technologies to enhance the anti-epidemic function of products will be the biggest problem facing the whole people. The acceptance of the product reached a significant difference.
In addition to the this research on the basis of mask quality improvement, through the subjective appraisal of user experience, truly reflects the top five items of the most critical quality improvement and management, such as: (1) poor protection, (2) lack of LED color identification, (3) poor design in human factors, (4) lack of physiological indicators, and (5) lack of automatic adjustment of elastic bands. Therefore, the development trend of the mask consumer market should not only have the function of filtering the air pollution source, but also the function of adsorbing organic gas and odor, soothing the nose allergy, and avoiding infection by viruses or bacteria. In addition, the technology sensing device make the mask be smart, and then monitor the physical health of the body, the GPS positioning function, and the LED display can effectively grasp the condition and carry out safe interaction.
In order to obtain the key procedure of management, through the quality house to describe the correspondence between customer demands (VoC) and process demand (VoE) of quality elements in mask. The top five items are: (1) air pollution droplet protection, (2) to prevent the infection effectively, (3) to meet user their living and working necessary, (4) automatic sensing of elastic bands in design, and (5) to visit patient peacefully. Therefore, it can be found from the quality connotation that the user is more concerned about the functionality of the mask, especially the protection against airborne droplets (deeply affected by the current serious air pollution in Taiwan) and effective prevention of contagiousness, and at the same time can meet people's life and work needs that user can obtain the optimal comfort requirements, and also expects to have a safe and practical need in accord with visit patient peacefully.
