This was featured at an event promoting and raising awareness for nanotechnology held at the Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology. The animation was created using a style inspired by Pixar Animation Studios using 3D animation. This allowed the audience to experience things that are too small to be visualized by the human eye. The vibrant and attractive animation encouraged the audience to develop an interest in the video’s topic. This provided an excellent method for giving the elderly insight into new technologies. A survey was also given to the audience to measure the value of the video. The top four most popular videos on nanotechology were taken from youtube and shown to the audience. These were used as a standard for comparison, the results of which determined that the created animation taught the concept better and rated highest in audience satisfaction.
