Summary: | 碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 工業管理系工業工程與管理碩士班 === 106 === Recently, many traditional small & medium enterprises are facing small-volume large-variety needs, which requires flexible assembly line. Many traditional factories choose to introduce lean for one-off through improvement, but without significant performance and more cost waste. This thesis presents a single case analysis, to combine lean thoughts and practical assembly line. Focus on the assembly line procedure and layout by using process chart to establish a U-shape multi-tasking layout procedure. To expect following purposes: (1) To reduce case assembly line manpower needs, assemble line balancing improvement. (2) To carry out U-shape layout, material reconfigure, assembly line & total moving distance shorten. (3) To add muti-tasking operators for case assembly line, increase support capability.
After the results of the study: improved layout can reduce 3 operator needs. With the reconfiguration of new layout, material and u-line: two of the operators are promote to muti-tasking operators, total moving distance reduce 25.35%, assembly line area reduce 14.92% and assemble line balance rate improved from 77.29% to 92.06%.
