Summary: | 碩士 === 國立聯合大學 === 光電工程學系碩士班 === 106 === In this work, we present a dual-wavelength Mueller matrix imaging polarimetry system with moving-free apparatus. The polarization state generator of this configuration is made up of a polarizer and two liquid crystal variable retarders, and the polarization states can be changed by adjusting the input voltage of the liquid crystal variable retarders. The output polarization state from the sample can be analyzed by the polarization state analyzer, composing of a photoelastic modulator, a cube beam splitter and analyzers. While the modulation of the incident light is coordinated with the frequency of the photoelastic modulator, the intensity variation due to the photoelastic modulator can be freeze and captured by a camera. By only taking 12 frames, containing 24 intensity images, the full Mueller matrix image of the sample can be deduced. For intuitive observation the optical characteristics of the sample, the obtained Mueller matrix image is decomposed by two approaches: Lu-Chipman polar decomposition and differential decomposition, to determine which is the best decomposition approach for various samples, focusing on the parameters of polarizance, diattenuation, depolarization and retardance.
