By going through all the case studies, the type of temporary houses in Taiwan in the past, works of Domestic and foreign Architects who had participated with post-disaster reconstruction and the thesis about postdisaster reconstruction, I compare the differences between the cases and propose the possible solution for the insufficiency. The concepts of design include three projects: Construction method (NLT/Building loop), Structure (Open system/Modular/Unitary/Building block system), and Foundation (Non-urban development zone/pad foundation). Among those, “Building loop” is the core of the design. Modularizing the materials and standardizing all sizes for different systems in order to complete the loop of building lifecycle.
Based on the design concept, I create a new unit. Using images to describe how the unit is classified in open system, and how the building is built.
Finally, simulating the design of space layout, construction and the community verifies the Loop.
