This has currently contributed to an influx of Russian students to Taiwan. However, studying in a country which presents different cultural patterns brings many educational, social and linguistic challenges for Russian students. This study aims to investigate Russian students’ language socialization experiences and their acculturation attitudes, and the correlation between the language socialization and acculturation attitudes. A questionnaire was distributed to 61 respondent. The mean scores of frequency of using Mandarin language, their acculturation attitudes, and the correlation between language socialization and acculturation attitudes was analyzed with the help of SPSS software. Participants have better Chinese listening abilities following by speaking skills. The usage of Chinese language is found to be positively correlated with Assimilation attitude. Although some factors affect the acculturation attitude in various situations, the result indicated the strong preference for Integration mode of acculturation among participants.
